Governance

Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary is one of eight seminaries of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and is part of the School of Theology of Lenoir-Rhyne University. The seminary is governed by the university's Board of Trustees.

Additionally, the seminary is guided by an Advisory Council. The Chairperson of Advisory Council is a member of the Board of Trustees and fellow council members are representative of various key constituents, including the seminary's ecclesiastical representatives.
